How can I look like Hilary Duff?
Pink and gold look great on nearly everyone. They are
especially captivating when combined with Hilary Duff's
golden hair. Doesn't Hilary look eminently kissable? When
you want to create a fresh, pretty, and particularly
romantic look pink is the color of choice. Coordinate
delicate pink lips and cheeks with a pearly neutral eye
shadow like gold, beige or nude. Don't be surprised if
somebody finds you irresistible.

FACE
Foundation / concealer Start with clean, exfoliated skin.
After allowing moisturizer to soak in, apply foundation
lightly to areas that need evening or coverage.
Next apply concealer to the inner corners of the eyes and
underneath to cover dark circles. Apply a small amount of
concealer to the eyelid as an eye shadow base.
Blush Choose a delicate pink shade. Apply blush in layers
until you get a delicate glow. If your face is wide or
round, apply your blush to the apples of your cheeks.
Otherwise, apply higher on the cheekbone like Hilary.
EYES
Eyelid Apply a pearly gold or neutral shade from the lid to
the crease.
Crease Apply a pearly light brown shadow or fawn in the
crease from corner to corner. Blend very well.
Hilite Use a pearly shade of off-white or cream on the
browbone. Use just enough to brighten your eyes. Blend very
well.
Eyeliner Choose a dark brown shade if your coloring is warm.
If your coloring is cool, you might be better using dark
gray. Use a powder liner with a thin damp brush.
Apply a VERY thin line to the top lash line, from corner to
corner. Use a VERY light touch and get the color in between
the lashes. You can try dotting your way across the lash
line and then going back and filling in to create one
continuous line.
Repeat all the way around the eye, top and bottom lashes,
until your lash line is just filled in. Keep the line thin
and light. It should serve to just make your eyes "pop" and
the lashes more pronounced.
If necessary, lighten the line by lightly dabbing it with a
cosmetic sponge. This works better right after liner has
been applied and is still a little damp.
Finally, trace a super-thin, delicate line around the inner
corners of the eyes.
Mascara Curl the upper lashes. Coat upper and lower lashes
two times with a black, thickening mascara.
Brows Use a sharp pencil or brow powder and brush to shape
and fill in your brows, if needed. Choose a shade as close
to your hair color as possible or just a bit darker.
Start by defining the arch of each brow. Step back and look
at your entire face in the mirror, and then fill in the rest
of the brow as necessary.
LIPS
If your lips need smoothing, brush them gently with an old,
soft toothbrush dipped in a petroleum jelly and table sugar
mixture.
Choose a matching, delicate pink lip liner and lipstick that
coordinate well with your blush.
Apply one coat of the lipstick and blot with tissue, then
apply a second coat. Repeat for longer lasting power.
Then, line the lips, blending lip pencil into lip color just
a bit. Start with the peaks of your top lip and work your
way around from there.
Top with plenty of clear gloss.

Skin
Before applying makeup, use a hydrating moisturizer like
Burt's Bees Marshmallow Vanishing Creme and Burt's Bees
Royal Jelly Eye Cream.
With your fingertips, dot Urban Apothecary's Foundation
Stix in Dune foundation on forehead, chin, the bridge of
nose and the apples of cheeks. On the forehead and
cheeks, blend in an outward motion; on the chin, blend
in a downward stroke. Work with small amounts of
foundation at a time. it’s better to start light and
build slowly to get the desired finish.
Apply Make Eye Transfomer (which is an amazing
concealer) in Original to the eyelids and under the eyes
using a Pointed Camouflage brush . The concealer should
also be used to cover blemishes and as a light base coat
for the lips.
Contour cheekbones using Color Wash Color Stick in
Sizzling, a sheer gel. Dab a small amount on the back of
one hand. Pick up a small amount with your fingertips
and lightly dab and pat the color onto the face,
starting just below the cheekbones and working toward
the hairline.
Eyes
For a well-defined brow, mix Brow Wow, Indelible Brow
Pencil in Blondi & Brunette to brush on a blend of rich
shades to the eyebrow in short strokes. Make sure the
color is well blended to create a natural shadow effect.
To accentuate brows, apply a quick coat of Brow Now Eye
Brow Gel.
Working with a Chisel Double Angle eye blender brush,
apply Moon Glow, a sheer iridescent shadow to the brow
bone only. Apply Satin, a light bone shadow to the rest
of the lid. In the crease, using a Crease Brush, apply
Foxy, a warm taupe and blend well with brush. You want
the crease color to be soft and natural.
To line the eyes, wet a Pointed Taklon Liner brush and
dip it into Spellbound shadow to create a modern version
of liquid liner. Start a narrow line at the top inner
corner of the eye and gradually thicken, tapering off at
about 1/8 inch beyond the outer corner of the eye. Use
Draw the Line, Indelible Eye Liner in Savage, a unique
green eyeliner pencil to line the inside of the upper
lash line and the very inner corner of the bottom.
Finish by curling the lashes and applying two coats of
Lash Out, Curling black mascara to the top and bottom
lashes.
Lips
Outline the lips in Bourbon lip liner. Make sure to seal
in the outer corners of the mouth with the pencil. This
gives the lips extra definition and depth.
Use a Deluxe Lip brush to blend the liner up and into
the lip to erase any signs of a definite line.
Apply a rich red lipstick from Spice of Life palette to
the lips with the lip brush, starting from the corners
and working toward the center.
As a final touch, dab a small amount of Duwop Lip Venom
onto the back of your hand. Pick up a small amount with
your lip brush and lightly dab it over the color. Be
careful not to smudge or disturb the color you just
applied.
